Changes to Enrolment

Changes to Enrolment Status

BBS understands that students may sometimes experience personal, academic, medical, financial, visa-related, or other unexpected circumstances that affect their ability to continue their studies as originally planned.

If a student’s circumstances change during their studies, BBS encourages students to contact the Institute as early as possible to discuss their situation and better understand the options, support services, and processes that may be available to them.

Depending on individual circumstances, students may need to discuss matters relating to:

  • deferment of studies;
  • temporary suspension of enrolment;
  • withdrawal from a course or unit;
  • changes to study load; or
  • cancellation of enrolment.

BBS is committed to managing enrolment-related matters in a fair, supportive, and transparent manner in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Supporting Students Through Enrolment Changes

BBS recognises that changes to enrolment can sometimes feel stressful or uncertain for students.

Students considering changes to their enrolment are encouraged to seek guidance early so they can better understand important academic, financial, administrative, and visa-related considerations that may apply to their individual circumstances.

Some requests may require supporting documentation or additional information as part of the assessment process.

International students should be aware that changes to enrolment may affect student visa conditions and course progression requirements. Students are encouraged to seek appropriate advice where necessary.
